🚚 Delivery of your bamboo slats

Livraison Geodis en France métropolitaine, Belgique, Luxembourg, Suisse et Espagne, comme suit :

2 to 3 m: Delivery to your home by carrier.

2 to 4 m: delivery at the Geodis agency or to a professional address.

Indicated delivery time: approximately 10 days after ordering.

5 to 6 m: Available on request for professional customers: contact us

1 m: shipping to France by Mondial Relay, with cutting, packaging and transport at €25 on request: contact us

🇫🇷 A French bamboo harvested in Ariège

Our bamboo canes are harvested in our bamboo plantations in Ariège during the cutting season, from November to March.

They are then dried in our workshop. Bambou Creations, In a dry, cool and ventilated room.

We therefore offer French bamboo that is directly sourced from our production and prepared in our workshop before being sold.

Are you looking for a French bamboo sheet?

We offer carved bamboo slats, made from bamboo Phyllostachys viridiglaucescens harvested in Ariège.

They are dried and prepared in our Bambou Créations workshop, in various widths and lengths up to 6 m on request.

 

We harvest our bamboo canes from bamboo groves in Ariège. Our canes are dried in our Bambou Créations workshop: it is a dry, cool and ventilated space. Then, we obtain our bamboo slats following the following steps:

• To split our bamboo sections between 50 and 80mm
• break the knots with a knife
• pass the electric planer 2 passes, to finish breaking the knots and rounding the corners

Finally, our slats are dried again in a dedicated dryer.

Treatment and finishing

Interior spaces For structures that will be installed in a house or a heated room, it is not necessary to treat our slats.

Outdoor spaces For structures intended for outdoor use, we recommend applying a special bamboo treatment every year (instructions on request after ordering). This treatment can be applied by Bambou Créations, upon request (Contact us)

As they dry, our bamboo slats lose their original color and become beige/brown.
